We are searching for an experienced Data Engineer to join a mission-critical team. You will work with a team to design and execute high-throughput, low-latency, fault-tolerant Paid Media solutions to support Nike’s digital transformation and growth plans. The ideal applicant should be able to communicate effectively, solve complicated challenges, and work well as part of a collaborative team.

• any experience between 0 to 2 years in software development in data engineering with experience in core skills Java, SQL, Python, Hive, Databricks, Spark, and EMR
• Proven expertise in data modeling, ETL development, and data streaming.
• good knowledge of data management fundamentals and storage principles
• Familiarity with the challenge of moving large files across a geographically dispersed network.  Knowledge of different accelerated transfer methods and technologies
• any experience in domain-driven design, microservice architecture, and RESTful APIs
• Experience building an integrated application using cloud services (AWS EC2, ECS, API gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, and Kafka).
• Experience implementing CI/CD and leading teams with DevOps responsibilities, including software deployment and support in production.
• Experience in highly collaborative, multidisciplinary development team situations.
